What We DO
Dream Bank South Africa
Our non-profit, DreamBank South Africa (DBSA), is beginning with a simple vision: to connect girls in Canada with girls in South Africa through authentic, one-on-one relationships. As we learn each girl’s story, we craft a DreamKit just for her. Each DreamKit is a connection that grows into mentorship, mutual inspiration, and tutoring support when needed.
Our mission is to make sure every girl, wherever she is, feels seen, heard, and encouraged to dream boldly. By creating spaces for shared stories, guidance, and learning, we hope to build bridges that empower girls to believe in themselves and in each other.
Our hope for this program is that every participant walks away with more than just a buddy — but with the confidence, support, and perspective to keep reaching for her goals.

Dream Kits
A DreamKit provides each girl with access to a dedicated “buddy” in Canada who is there to offer consistent support in several key ways. First, every participant has someone she can build a genuine friendship with — a person to talk to, share experiences with, and lean on for encouragement. Beyond friendship, DreamKits also offer mentorship, giving girls support as they explore their personal goals, challenges, and future possibilities. For high school students, DreamKits can include free tutoring from buddies who have the right academic background and experience to provide meaningful help with schoolwork. Together, these elements form the core of a DreamKit: friendship, inspiration, and learning opportunities.
