Dream Bank South Africa (DBSA) began with a simple vision: to connect girls in Canada with girls in South Africa through authentic, one-on-one relationships. Each girl builds a connection with her buddy that grows into mentorship, mutual inspiration, and, when needed, academic support at the high school level. Through these friendships, participants also gain a deeper appreciation for one another's experiences and perspectives, fostering empathy and a broader understanding of the world.

Our mission is to ensure every DreamBank participant feels seen, heard, and encouraged to dream boldly. By creating opportunities to share stories, offer guidance, and learn from one another, we hope to build bridges across continents that empower girls to believe in themselves, celebrate their differences, and recognize the value of every perspective.
